 Fire and water have always been opposing elements in nature. For everytime fire is out of control, water is there to quench it. But whenever fire gains the upper hand, H2O simply evaporates. These two essential properties of Earth have never learned to co-exist...Until now.

 Introcuing Fireboy and Watergirl In The Forest Temple-a point and click adventure strategy by Oslo Albet! As two sprites representing water and fire , you must finish each course as a team-doing what the other cannot acomplish. Each one must collect all coresponding diamonds and then reach their elemental door. Use the W A D keys to move watergirl and the Arrow Keys to get fireboy going. In hexagon shaped levels go as fast as possible, tringle rubies means move simultaneously, while in diamond shaped courses you must obtain the green! Each character must watch out for Water(fire) pits while green slime kills them both.

 I was thoroughly impressed with this game. From the crisp stone-dungeon sound effects that in a way remind me a lot about Zelda. Particularely Ocarina of Time and Windwaker. Two protagonists working together to acomplish what the other can't is something new in the online game arena. Though the difficulty in remembering which one does what at the same time can be well, daunting. But that's the challenge my friend. Each level is simalar which is a good thing(depending on how you look at things). Overall I give Oslo Albet five thumbs up from Online Game Lounge!

Adventures Of Cupid

 Valentines is a season for love and infatuation. When Cupid supposedly makes his rounds about the planet aiming his darts at unsuspecting couples to make them fall in love. A match made in heaven as they say.

 Well tonight, cupid is doing something a little different. He's aiming his arrows at just about anybody who spews out venomous anger and hatred. The cherubs aim this year is to heal the world rather then match couples in paradise.

 Use the A and D keys to walk. Hit the K button to jump and the J key to shoot arrows. In no time will you have the world in heavenly order!

 I loved the retro look and feel to this platformer very much. However, the controllers were a very big pain in the butt. Most people are used to either the Arrow or WASD keys. But this game uses niether. Oh well. Other then that sorethumb, I thought the Adventures of Cupid was pretty cool!

Snow Tale

 Ever seen frozen evergreen trees nestled way up in the mountains where snowballs lived and molested you with well more snow and furrballs?!

Introducing Snow Tale!-a Winter Andventure Platformer by Miniclip! Use the Left/Right Arrow Key to go Left/Right. Hit the Up Arrow Key to jump and the Down Arrow Key to ground puund. As an offensive, use the Scacebare  to shoot snowballs.

  I find this to be quite neat and well refreshingly entertaining! What with a couple a frozen platforms plastered with a few nemesis thrown in therer with good measure. I call this a good game with exellent graphics and vantastic animation!

Daffy Duck's Studio Adventures

 Daffy Duck has just received a mysterious call from the studio, asking him to act a role for a 2010 premier film. They promised a huge comeback in the making! With a whole string of shorts just waiting to be produced. Immediately, Daffy packed his bags and headed for Hollywood.

 "I hope this doesn't disappoint like 'Loney Tones Back In Action'. Just take me to Cinema Square mistral hoo-hoo hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!"

 As the limo driver opened the door for the duck, he quickly spun out a quarter and exclaimed "here's a tip for ya mate woo-hoo-hoo-ho-hoo-hoo!" Hysterically, the duck zoomed into the studio with his tongue sticking out. Suddenly it dawned on him. This was a girls dressing room which was right next door to his studio. The girls screamed. Daffy opened his beak. But before he could utter a few syllables, the guards promptly kicked him out.

"This is certainly not the star treatment I was hoping for, Sheesh!" Said Daffy with a crooked beek.

 As he entered the studio, it was strangely quiet. Everything was where it should be. Yet only one body showed up. "It's gotta be rush hour traffic you know" So off he goes unto his dresser room where a cold splash of reality soaked his bill with shock and disappointment. Suddenly realizing he was set up in a Hollywood obstacle course where our adventure begins.

Introducing Daffy's Studio Adventures

 You must help poor Daffy escape from this studio with his yellow bill attached to his face. Use the Arrow Keys to move about the platforms and the Space Bar for jumping from one place to another. Let's go show these windbags who there messing with! Yet this does not erase the fact that it was all nothing but hype!

Daffy's Studio Adventures Review

 The soundtrack and effects do not stray one iota from the tradition we all come to know and love Daffy Duck. the motion pictures are of high quality with three-dimensional graphic and fairly robust animation. The executions pretty original though consistent of on what you'd expect when hearing about a game on Daffy Duck. So to conclude this brief review, I find Daffy's Studio Adventures quite fun, somewhat engaging, and very entertaining!

Top Cop

 Rumor has it that the Chicago Taverns are flooded with hucksters and crooks bringing the whole district into an uproar. Seeing you've earned the "Cop of The Year" award, their asking you to check up on things and dispel these dainty rumors. Many establishments have already threatened to go elsewhere. But driving down to the Taverns will be an experience you'll never forget!

 From one block to another, the whole section of town is littered with rebels and delinquents. Underground bootleggers and trafficking have become this districts nickname. The blood of it's victims(though concealed) cries out against these Taverns. Corruption has reached such heights, only an adequate cleanse will purify it's walls.

 You must restore order to a fallen Chicago zone and bring security unto the few innocents left within it's limits. Many analysts claim The Great Depression a few years back coupled with The prohibition Act might've contributed to the increase in crime rates. However, Al Capon will not be so famous once his sorry little butt get's arrested like everyone else.

Top Cop Review

 The music is based on that all-too-familiar Jazz hit "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing"(which will celebrate it's 78th birthday in August). Those sound-effects are pretty robust and very much what you'd expect from a browser-based free online game. It's execution is way better then "Cop For This"(where you only see officers running around like paper figures). The game play is very casual with standard Miniclip graphics and animation. Again, "Top Cop" is very easy to begin but only get's tougher as the platforms progress. So bringing this all to a summery, "Top Cop" is definitely one heck of a unique adventure!

Snack Dash

 Today I have a Sonic clone for you to play around with. Race through three levels of loop-de-loos, cartwheels, and other moves typical of your favorite hedgehog.

 Your pot of gold is healthy and nutritious snacks. Your enemies are those money mongers. Trying to sell you processed, non-organic junk and those who follow blindly into their lead. Hint: Don't worry about every single thing. Just find the quickest way to the finish line. Just want to explore? Well, be my guest.

 Use the arrows and Spacebar to move and jump. Repetitively hitting A and S are for push ups in case you accidentally ingest a can of soda(wink).

Sonic Snack Dash Review

 I was a little frustrated struggling to race up those steep inverted plains(but gaining more ground usually does the trick). That aside, I think this game has a good moral to the story. Targeted towards school age kids to live healthy lifestyles(no, you can't burn all your fat in one sitting. I wish...sigh).

Nicky Boom

 "Nicky Boom" is a side-scrolling platform adventure developed by Alain Lambin of Microids for the Amiga Commodore 600. A popular computer game platformer of the late 80's and early 90's.

 Nicky Boom's grandfather has been utterly cursed and held captive by some old gruesome witch by the name of Zoldrane. The once peaceful canopy surrounding her lair has fallen into her evil spell. Whatever resides within that forest has now turned as ugly and hideous as she is. Only one thing can save grandfather and return paradise unto these woods.

 Help Nicky squash(or throw rotten apples at) these beasts while he goes on a scavenger hunt, searching for the that potion of destiny-namely the Elixir. Control Nicky with the Arrow Keys hitting C V B to unleash your ammo(logs, bombs, and rotten apples oh my!). There are many secrets and goodies that are bursting at the seams. But don't expect much more then a few brownie points.

Nicky Boom Review

 The platforms are clean and user-friendly(minus the rotten ammo). With a surreal classical soundtrack and crispy sound-effects. Amiga Magazine only gives this platformer a 50. But I think Mr. Boo Boo deserves a much higher score. The fantastical storyline coupled with it's simple and nostalgic appeal, makes for an outstanding 2D side-scrolling adventurous tale!

"Nevermore" Game

 Today I've found a hands-on adventure game. All about a boy living among the suburbs of "Nevermore". A major city and port. On a tropical Island.

Nevermore

 Waking up this morning, this little boy notices the air doesn't feel quite right. A powerful thunderstorm brushed by. Leaving the soil drenched from the night before.Whatever brewed up the storm is also making it quite nippy. With no T.V. or radio of his own, the lad is left to wonder the streets in search of a weather report.

 With each passing hour, the winds only grew stronger. Until an ominous line of clouds started rolling in from the northwest from the docking bay. White flakes started descending from these clouds. A little at first. But soon enough the whole town of Nevermore was engulfed in a couple of inches of snow! Finally the boy musters a little courage to speak-up unto a passer-by...

The boy: "What is going on?!

Some bystander: "It's a snowstorm"!

The Boy: "What"?!

Bystander: "Global Cooling is setting in"!

Bystander: "Now even we have seasons of sorts"!

Bystander: "Next the seas will slowly disappear out of the horizon"!

 You must quickly board the Nevermore railway which will transport you to the airport. A plane will take you to the equator. Where it'll be warm. Use the Arrow Keys to move, the Spacebar to jump[press and hold for higher ascent], and use your mouse to click when appropriate. Be sure to hurry as the trolley hasn't got all day.

Nevermore Review

 I am completely sold by the simplicity of this side-scrolling platformer! The graphics are fairly unique and unconventional or informal for lack of a better term). the story doesn't really go anywhere. But just the sheer thrill of wondering through a 2-Dimensional world and exploring every nook and cranny makes this adventure all worthwhile!

Barry the Buyer

 Like every other person in the industrialized planet, Berry has his own 9-5 to compete in. But unlike some, his job demands he dropship and run many other tedious errands for his rich boss. Most would call him an Errand Boy. Although very dangerous, Berry is fortunate to get paid $500,000 a year(plus benefits if he's good)! With such good pay, there's bound to be a caveat somewhere. Introducing "Berry The Buyer". Produced by the webmaster of Owen's World.

 Help Mr. Berry complete his tasks as fast as possible before time runs out or he doesn't get paid(I told ya there was a catch! It's all in the fine print). Be wary of ditches and spikes which might be fatal(apparently, this guys immune to safety regulations too). Vouch for the nearest exit to finish each course. Good luck and may his fortunes only increase.

Berry The Buyer Review

 Although the control quality was quite poor and basic, I was thoroughly amazed by the multitude of tasks with each passing level. The music further gave it a hip boost that goes along quite nicely with this platformer(the sound-effects were pretty shabby too). So despite the five-n-dime game controls, Owen's World did a fine job executing "Berry The Buyer".

Space Runner

 Congratulations! You've just won an Oscar Award! All these years of winding up in the oddest places have finally paid off. You should be proud of yourself!

 Well in this case, you've just awoken from a sound sleep. Suddenly realizing your not in Kansas anymore. Only this ain't no Munchkin Land but an insane asylum! Worse, your stuck in the middle of outer space on a alien spacecraft. Apparently their running an experiment on you as a guinea pig.

 You must collect all the orange dots to open a portal to the next level. Watch out for spinning tops, electrical particulates, and automatic machine guns. Just one touch will terminate you. Finish all the platforms and they will release you back to your home planet(hopefully). Rumor has it that folks find themselves back home in the same way they were abducted.

Space Runner 1 And 2 Review

 In this case, the lack of any music or sound effects is justified by the platforming. However, the game did seem a little lopsided and slightly ill mobile. Part one is pretty much the same way(of course both of these circumstances could be attributed to limited disk space). But aside from all that, I fairly enjoyed this platforming adventure!

PaniK In Platform Peril

 It was a pretty average school morning. Got up out of bed, got dressed, and had a little breakfast downstairs . Her brother was his same old bratty self(as he always is) and her parents-Ugh...She doesn't want to even go there.

 On the way to the bus stop, she noticed a really strange presence. Like somebody(or something) was watching her. Like an aura of some sort. An inner calling coming from the woods right behind her. Seeing everyone was minding their own business, she wonders off to take a look.

 A peculiar tree with a transcendent owls nest appears making an ominous sound. Her curiosity getting the best of her, she takes a closer look. Suddenly, she is engulfed into some kind of vortex leaving nothing but her close-toed barefoot pumps behind. Instantly, she's taken to a parallel dimension and transformed into some sort of bunny rabbit. Now she must ward off these new villains and escape back into her universe before mom finds out she's missed a day of school(nevermind lost an expensive pair of platforms).

 It is up to you my friend. Will you help her out? Use the Arrow Keys to move, jump, and duck. Hit the Space Bar to shoot some weapon which will temporarily disable your opponents. Hopefully when she get's back, no one will have stolen her favorite shoes(don't count on it)!

Review On Panic In Platform Peril

 The picture quality was half way decent along with the lovely sound-effects(namely the bunny rabbit eating his carrots). The introductory tune was alright though nothing special. Now the game itself is nothing but pure platforming thrills and adventure. Wrapping it all up, I think whomever the developer was sure did a fine job!

Mr. Don

 A Japanese pig and his girlfriend had a lovely picnic together. Yet Mr. Piggy here had to ruin the moment. He pignaps her in his stunt house lair. An oddly shaped facility in the middle of nowhere. Now Mr. Don(the Japanese pig) must go through fire and ice to rescue his little piggy in distress.

 Each room is filled with his dominions(along with enough piggy bait to drive you on). Be careful as this guy has a tendency to cry easily. Just three hits and just watch him throw a pity party on you!

 Stop this mad scientist in his tracks. Do it for the piggies. Do it for the girl. Do it or else become a guinea-pig yourself!

Mr. Don Review

 The music has a wonderful blues theme to begin with. Plus the sound-effects are up to par. The execution is very well put together(with the 2D platformer coupled with the animation). My only complaint would be the Japanese hieroglyphic instructions. Besides that, the high picture quality and fairly good storyline make this an excellent adventure to dig into!

Cable Capers 2

 One day, Arnold was walking downtown When suddenly a sink-hole opened up and swallowed him whole! He did not see it coming. One minute he's daydreaming then the next grafted into a dimension of the unknown.

 Now you've got to help poor Arnold find his way back to reality! Be careful. There are creatures and all sorts of traps you could fall into. Unlike Mario, you cannot just be going around stompin' on your foes.

Have at it!

 Wish they had more user-friendly controls. Otherwise, you've got one perfect 2D adventure.

Adventures of Blob Bob

 Let's face it. Ordering a hamburger from a fast foot chain these days, you don't know what your getting. Whether if a disgruntled employee wipes his nose or some guy forgot to remove a few varicose veins while processing the meat.  For Bob it was no different. All he wanted was a nice  juicy hamburger to go. But he could not savor one bite!

 Instead, the bun vanishes into thin air and opens up a portal to a new dimension. Luckily he finds more food on the other side. Complete with a whole new world to seek out and explore. You've got to feel happy for this fella. All his life, he's been bullied around and picked on. Now is his chance to claim a trophy and become somebody. As long as he steers clear from amoebas, he'll do just fine(unless he want's to serve as a replacement to that scrumptious hamburger).

Review To Adventures of Blob Bob

 The music and sound effects were fairly good though a bit repetitive. Now the game itself is very intriguing with pretty good 2D quality graphics and animation. It even has a story to go along with it(well sort of). So to make a long story short, if you liked "Acorn's Big Adventure", then "Adventures of Blob Bob" will definitely dig your style!

Paper Mario World Flash

 From the studios of Newsgrounds I give you an online rendition to Paper Mario World! Exclusively developed by Lesjev. Somewhat of a hybrid between the official Paper Mario World and Super Mario Sunshine. 

 Topple those goombas the old fashioned way or with a sledge hammer. Some enemies cannot be stomped on. Use the arrows to jump and maneuver about. Use the space bar for your sledge hammer.

 Bowser's at it again but with an awful idea much worse the the Grinch. This time he's cast a spell upon the Mushroom Kingdom(and of course kidnapped the Princess). The whole land has been sucked in and composed upon a book authored by non other then King Koopa! The only way for you to stop him is for you and the epic to become one(which means The Capped One must subject himself onto another 2D platforming adventure. Then restore his empire back to the way it was). I tell you. After Mario defeats King Koopa, he'll take him to court and sue him for copyright infringement!

Paper Mario World(Online Version)

 The music has a lot of Sunshine tunes and a little touch of Nintendo D.S. With some originality thrown in there. The sound effects are amazingly crisp. The level design is pretty faithful to the Paper Mario atmosphere. With exiting platforms and secrets just waiting to be discovered(although I'd wish a few more lives were given by default). All in all, Lesjev has certainly created a mean online rendition to Paper Mario World.

Super Mario Brothers 2

 Mario discovers a whole new world to explore. With enchanting adventure and breath-taking wonder. But with those thrills come new challenges. Armed with only a suitcase and some fruit, they must together journey through new lands and caves full of hideous snakes, land stars, and shy guys. So after finding some clues, they find out Bowser's cousin Frogger is the culprit behind all this.

 But after defeating him, pore Mario needs a vacation on top of this one(After all, this one nearly wiped him out)Yet cozily snuggled within his SUV bedroom, Mario lays his weary head to rest knowing he did a job well done.

 Meanwhile back in Mario Land, Bowser decides to take over the Mushroom Kingdom. He kidnaps Peach right in front of Mario(showing off his new facelift).

Super Mario Brothers Review

 Like part one I am thoroughly impressed by the graphics, animation, and feel the online version has to it's cartridge counterpart. My only pet-peeve would be the inability to save data. But out of all the JavaScript renditions floating around, the VNES(Virtual Nintendo Entertainment System) has got to be the #1 emulator!

 Let's go back to 1985 shall we. When Mario was just tight on over-alls made out of a few pixels. Back when "The Power of Love" made #1 on the curtails of "Back To The Future". Because of this new revolutionary game, Nintendo(formerly a third-party contractor) got the big break they were hoping for over 100 years(literally). Ladies and gentlemen, the moment you'll all been waiting for(drumrolls please)...

Super Mario Brothers

 As you'll remember, Bowser looked more like a miniature god-zilla throwing nuts and bolts over himself. Every time he'd fall for the same trap. But not before disguising his abductee as Peach seven times before harboring the real princess. Then after saving her, she's willing to do it all over again on a tougher match! Gees, the things we do for love.

Acorn's Big Adventure

 O.K. let's be frank here. Your an acorn out in the fields just looking for trouble. There are skull nibblers, termite colonies, and bone head Parana's just waiting to get their hands on you! Armed with only a few acorns and a shell to keep warm. Introducing...

Acorn's Big Adventure

 Well according to Tom, what we have here is just a demo with the real thing coming very shortly. Venture through platforms filled with skeletal mice and other creatures you thought had no intelligence. Use your unlimited supply of ammo(in this case acorns with Z) to subdue your enemies. Don't be dismayed over a dead end. Just remember there's still more to come from Acorn's Big Adventure.

Acorn's Big Adventure Review

 You could almost mistaken this for a cartoon series(based on the introductory music. Which actually comes from a famous 80's hit!). The sound effects throughout a fairly crisp and clear. Now the gameplay is where the cream-filling is! Bouncing on many platforms in this 2D action adventure! My only small pet-peave would be the controls. Otherwise I guarantee your in for a real adventure!
