You were supposed to get Thanksgiving off. Well, at least that was the last thing you heard from the boss's lounge. But then he changed his mind the week after Veterans Day.
"Why not theme one night after ol goble goble"!
He would! Wouldn't he. Now I must forgo my turkey dinner to meet his demands. O well. At least I'm getting holiday pay. Most folks in my position don't even get that. ha! So oft to work I go!
The game is a bit technical so bare with me. Here are the instructions.
Recognise the number of required roasted turkeys. Pick the turkey from it's cage. Use boiler to clean the turkey. When boiler glows, take the cleaned turkey from the boiler.
Roast the turkey by using the roaster. When the roaster glows, take the roasted turkey from the roaster. Use gift box to pack the roasted turkey. Serve the gift box to the customer. Grab the money to allow the next customer to come in. That should do it!
It's tough to get in the hang of it. But I'm sure eventually you'll come to like this Thanksgiving trinkit! I give this 4 thumbs up from Online Game Lounge!

Real World Escape 182-Turkey!
Thanksgiving is just a few days away. But But the other day you hit your head on the way home and can't remember a thing. Even your home looks quite different.
Now all you hear is Bonnie Tyler's hit from 1984 "Turn Around" constantly looping within your head without end-what a nightmare! What's more. Mr. Jingle here wants you to fetch him a turkey dinner and sniff out 12 mice out of his bedroom(don't ask). Then he'll release you for Thanksgiving and you can have a wonderful Holiday weekend. Isn't he such a suell guy!
I thought the game was was well put together and chellenging. The soundtracking you might have guessed is from Bommie Tyler's hit from the 80's which I felt was cool but a wish the mute button worked. o well. Otherwise, I feel this game was appetising! A walkthrough is provided ingame!

5 Online Games to be Thankful For!
That aside, I have five Thanksgiving flash games to be grateful for this Turkey Day. Whether they be escape flicks, retro arcades, or even a strategy game, all these trinkets are compliments of the great big turkey plastered above!
#1 Pilgrimage
You've all heard the story right? Back in 1620, the Mayflower voyaged across the treacherous Atlantic-searching for a new home within the land of the West. From September to November, the English Separatists battled abreast the seven seas until they spotted earth in what is today Cape Cop.
But here's what they don't want you to know. Yes, half of the passengers did indeed perish. Not from disease but alien abduction! That's right, mysterious flying dishware were witnessed kidnapping both man and cattle aboard their ships for experimentation. In addition, it appears the natives were taken as well. They believed them to be the Ant People depicted upon their petroglyphs who descended from Orion's Belt. The colonists however feared them to be demons thwarting their efforts at religious freedom.
Well in this arcade game, you are one of those flying saucers abducting helpless pilgrims who've just landed at(what is today) Provincetown Harbor. Let's see how many turkeys and humans you can suck up before time runs out!
Use the Space Bar to shoot rays of light. Be careful of grenades and pitchforks they might throw at you in retaliation.

Turkey To Go
I apologize to my readers,
I just realized "Thanksgiving Escape" was already reviewed just last year at this time(must've been the egg nog I had last night).;)
But to make it up to you, here is...
Turkey To Go
Watch out! a few morsels might be poisonous. Not to mention that darn pitchfork will go after your rear-end if your stomach doesn't agree! But otherwise, keep filling-up on those feathers to clothe your naked body.
Turkey To Go Review
Although the gameplay is not much. It'll get fairly addicting once you get moving. The music is for the hillbillies. This game might not overtly excite you. But it's worth giving it a shot over those left-overs in the fridge!
By the way, Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Day Escape
*Edit*[My bad. I just did this review last Thanksgiving! So I've added the link to my previous post at the bottom of this one. Must of been the indigestion. Oh well. So to make it up to you, check out Turkey To Go.]
It is a mild Spring morning here in Plymouth. It's 1624 and your trapped within a cottage somewhere deep within the enchanted forest's of this New World. Just three years ago we and the Indians were as one-celebrating the bounty God had given us through many festivities and a bloody huge turkey dinner.
Oh...I can still taste the yams and the corn-on-the-cob! If it wasn't for Alfred's wicked ambitions, we would still be breaking bread this very day. But as of now the Indians are pissed! Though my fellow pilgrims are blissfully unaware, I have been kidnapped by Chief Sanataquset! He has ordered me locked-up within a cabin far from the reaches of what he calls the pale face.
Now you must help me escape this hut and warn the others to urge Governor Alfred to stop his mad coarse and restore peace with the Indians before it is too late!
Up now...Times are wastin'!

Thanksgiving Day Escape!
Hey there,
Good news! I've finally got back my beloved computer from the emergency ward. Due to an infectious virus(I know it stinks). I couldn't ever finish my last issue of "Frankin Friday" on October 29th(the last Friday before Halloween). But to make that up to y'all, I've got something to offer this Thanksgiving after all.
Check out "Thanksgiving Escape"-a point-and-click room escape by 123Bee! According to the tale, you've been detained by local Indian tribes in battle. Your only hope is to find a subtle way to evade the chief or else you too will be offered on the Thanksgiving Table-in place of the traditional turkey(yikes)!
1. Turn right and get the knife from your uniform.
2. Get the candle.
3. At the same screen click the roof(middle wood) and get the rod.
4. Turn right and get plate next to cauldron.
5. Move the cauldron to the right side.
6. Light up the wood with the candle.
7. Go left and get the cookie from the middle pot on the middle shelf.
8. At the same screen, click the right side of the roof(where the planks of wood cross) and get the stone weapon.
9. At the door screen, click the left side of the roof(where the wood crosses) and get the rope.
10. Break the lock of the small door with the stone weapon.
11. Go to the window and throw the cookie to the turkey(second right window). The turkey will come closer.
12. go back to the small door and use rope on the turkey.
13. Take the turkey in and cut it with the knife(to preserve it).
14. Now use iron rod on the turkey.
15. Cook the turkey on the fire.
16. Put the turkey on the plate.
17. Now the locals tribesmen won't bother to eat you!

Turkey Liberation Front Escape
A turkey has been recently caught and held captive(against it's will) within a family dwelling. The old man has deceived the little fella into their own little trap. Unless someone interferes, this little gobble is ripe for the slaughter!
You must free this poultry and replace him with a vegetarian decoy(tofu anyone). The family is tucked into bed upstairs. As long as your quiet, they won't notice a thing.
Just one problem, where is the key. Apparantly, papa has stored it away within a bundle of puzzles. So solving a few riddles here and there should do the trick. Your mouse is the only thing that'll do all the work. In no time, that key will unleash the chains and set free a coveted Thanksgiving staple. But will he seize the opportunity? That's another story.

Turkey Escape
Ah...Thanksgiving...A time to nibble on that apple pie or stuff yourself with grandmas sweet potato pie. For family reunions and watching football on a crisp cold November day(but as for me, I'll stick with Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade). To count our blessings, one by one. Even if turkey left-overs come out of our eyes for the next two weeks. This tradition has always been cherished throughout the years. Yet there is one demographic which does not feel the same about our beloved holiday.
OK, farmer Joe has just bought himself a live turkey and is getting fixed to slaughter the bird for a scrumptious Thanksgiving feast! As I am writing this article, the giant bird is locked up in a feeding trough, gorging his meal. Unbeknowing the fate that awaits him.
Find some way to strategically let this poor animal go free and escape his lot of becoming a yummy palette for the clan. Please hurry as farmer Joe may arrive at any second!
The soundtrack feels a little creepy and slightly more reminiscent of a Halloween escape flick. But that's probably the whole idea. What would you think if you were in his shoes(or in this case clutches)...? I would be thinking the same thing, believe me(edit: soundtracking has changed to a more Classical tone)!
The game play is really simple and to the point. But with just enough difficulty to engage your whole mind(another words, neither frustrating, nor merely elementary). Despite it,s brevity, in no uncertain terms does this lack any depth.
Although escape-the-room games have been done many times before, one had to be make for Thanksgiving Day and 123Bee were the fellas who intricately put the code together-Piece by piece. Overall, "Turkey Escape" is a wonderful strategy to solve after you've filled up your tummy with a generous helping of Pumpkin pie!

1. Point-and-click to grab the turkey.
2. Click to zoom-in and grab the iron ball to your right.
3. After returning to default(where you started), zoom-in towards the back and grab the rope from the hook on either side.
4. Get back to default, then zoom-in and click to drop bucket to grab the black hood it was suspended on.
Zoom-out then go to feeding trough and find a small black stone.
5. Go back then go towards back shelf to your left. Use stone to get thwart the nail out.
6. Go back then click towards shelf(to your right). Place that nail on the left bracket shelf then use stone to loosen it(the same thing will automatically happen on the right bracket). Finally, grab the shelf.
7. Go back to default and zoom-into the storage basement below. Click either handle to open and take the pulley.
8. Now, zoom-out and grab the log(to your right) and place it on top of the basement door. Then place the shelf on top of it. This should create a teeter-tot(well, sorta).
9. Attach the pulley on the black rope hanging from the ceiling.
10. Now use the brown rope to wrap around the pulley and zoom-in to place the bucket hook on the bottom-left rope.
11. Continuously click the pulley until the hook has reached the box stack in the back and and brought it to the teeter-tot.
12. Zoom-in towards teeter-tot and place iron ball on the opposite side of the box stack. Numerously click on the bottom rope just above. This should throw the ball out the window with a mighty shatter.
13. Now repeat #12 with the turkey.
14. Congratulations my friend! You've saved the turkey from becoming Thanksgiving Dinner! Now I wonder what farmer Joe's gonna do to you(since he heard that window shatter)?
