Star Fox Flash

 Andross has once again rallied his Venomian troops in hopes of thwarting the Lylat System in darkness as he attempts to assume his reign of terror! Star Fox, Peppy Hare, Slippy, and Falco have once again been commissioned by Corneria to eradicate his evil plans and restore this solar system back to a state of tranquility. Andross was not always like this.

 As a kid, your dad used to tell you stories of how Andross's former benevolence and use to society. He was one of the elders of the planet Corneria. A scientist who searched for answers in saving this Earth-like habitation from becoming a desolate waste. However one day, he made a discovery which some believe influenced him to become arrogant.

 As time marched onward, Andross proposed before the planet council that he be the sole ruler of this terrestrial ball. But when the council rejected his proposal, the scientist took matters in his own hands and proclaimed himself King of Corneria with an army to stop any who hindered his ambition. At this, the council unanimously ruled that he be imprisoned upon the planet Venom indefinitely!

 Once he got there, Andross sneakily broke free from security. What he did next shocked everyone. The mad scientist performed an experiment on himself-transforming into a monster with a big head with giant hands! This test gave him enormous powers to rule the Gas Giant! In no time he persuaded numerous units on various planets to rebel against Corneria and join his forces to conquer the Lylat System. He would then build on the foundations of the ruins an evil empire that would spread among the stars. His ego knew no end!

 Every night your father would tell you the tale before tucking you in bed. You would then drift to sleep wondering how good men can turn into bad guys. But then the alarm rudely buzzes you out of nostalgia. The four of you must stop Andross and his evil minions from taking control of this star! Hit the Spacebar to shoot and D to detonate bombs. S can be used to activate your shield(briefly). Be careful Star Fox. Take courage. The fate of the Lylat System rests on your shoulders!

Star Fox Flash Review

 I was a bit disappointed by the lack of variety and monotone gameplay. Yes, I know it's 2D but shooting the same arwings and battalion can get weary after the first 5 minutes. The soundtrack is faithful to the original Star Fox 64! I've only gotten to the final boss of the first level so. Overall, I give this rendition an average 3 out of 5 stars!

Awesome Tanks

 Batter-up the hatches! Congress has just declared war! Only of a different kind. One that is unprecedented in all of human history. Which was just bound to happen as our missiles just kept getting...Well you know, bigger.

However, there was a tanker who thought otherwise.

 While the rest only saw misery and destruction, RC 247 looked beyond the dilemma and perceived there was potential. Although mankind has committed much harm to one another, they've also done much good to the world. But the other RC's would have none of that. they threw 247 out of the assembly and banished him indefinitely. So he had no choice but to warn the nations of a coming onslaught!

 For the first time, the Earth became as one despite their differences. Together they commissioned RC 247 as their commander and chief. His main objective was to bring a surprise attack upon their own hidden fortress way out in the Gobi Desert. But he needs your help. Are you up for the task?

 Introducing Awesome Tanks! A first-person shooter brought to you by Dino Games! You must barrel through fifteen courses of non-stop shooter action! Your mouse is the trigger that'll detonate your ammo. Collect as much booty as possible to raise funds for even greater weapons of mass destruction. Just watch your ammo and health meters as after all, you're not invincible despite being a machine.

Awesome Tanks Review

 This game is excellent for those who are looking for PG-7 material that's not wimpy. You know that old Kiks commercial, "kid tested, mother approved"(for the most part)? Well that about sums it up.

 However, an introductory tutorial to get the touch and feel would have been nice as it takes a bit to get used to. But overall, you will find Awesome Tanks pretty addictive to your enjoyment! Other than an improved soundtrack, part 2 is more of the same!

Microcosmic Shooter

 One ordinary morning you wake up, brush your teeth, and whack an annoying house fly. Nothing too surprising there. Only thing is, these bugs have been genetically engineered by some gruesome alien insect right in your own kitchen!

 To make matters worse, he's brainwashed these squirts to downsize you to an inch in diameter. Now they've got you right where they want you. Your only link to survival is to assemble a few specimen tools and invent weapons of microscopic destruction.

 Welcome to Microcosmic Shooter-a point-and-click first person shooter hybrid by gameslist.com.

 Now after defeating Mr. boss and regaining your stature. I don't think it's the last you'll ever hear from him. No siree...Stay tuned for part 2!

Microscopic Shooter Walkthrough

1. Walk out of cup.

2. Walk forward and take hairpin.

3. Go toward faucet. Turn water on, back up, and take elastic.

4. Click upper-right arrow and take fragrance.

5. Click lower-right arrow and kill the fly with the fragrance.

6. Go down and kill another fly.

7. Go into kitchen.

8. Go straight and take sledgehammer. Then push stool to create an inverted plain.

9. Go up and use fragrance to kill two mosquitoes.

10. Go straight and use sledgehammer on faucet to go up and get tooth-picks(this should create a bow-n-arrow). Now back up.

11. Now go left and shoot the bug with bow-n-arrow.

12. Go left twice, use sledgehammer and fragrance to knock out power socket to grab small blade from under the pan.

13. Go left and use bow-n-arrow upon multiple bugs to go forward and grab the string.

14. Go down twice then left and use bow-n-arrow on circles then use sledgehammer to make a ladder.

15. Go up and grab small block of wood then come right back down and out.

16. Click the lower right arrow and kill a bug(with bow-n-arrow), then go straight and collect the map(photo).

17. Go back down and take a right. Then go straight and left to destroy multiple bugs with bow-n-arrow.

18. Now bang a right(lower-right arrow) and use sledgehammer to collect soybeans.

19. Now back out and Click upper-right arrow to collect bottle of superglue(this should result in the creation of an artillery gun).

20. Now back out and click lower-left arrow.

21. Use bow-n-arrow and sledgehammer to make a latter again and go up.

22. Now use artillery on glass-encased bug then go straight to face the final boss with same weapon(you gotta be quick).

23. You've killed the bug! Or have you?

Sheriff Sam

 Sheriff Sammy is the whammy! Patrolling the outskirts of Nickleback. Keeping order on a dessert town in the middle of nowhere.

 Everyday was the same ordeal. Weather that be exaggerated tales of the wilderness or a couple of crazy scoundrels making a scene at the local bar. But one day Sam took old faithful Argo and ventured into the open dessert to see if the legend bears any weight.

 Suffice it to say, Argo broke his limb. From there on, creatures started attacking! Zombies, birds, UFO's, even ghosts and land sharks had a field day with poor Sam and Argo. Guess he'll pay more attention to the town folk now...won't he?

Da Vinci Cannon

 Ever visualize what a physics puzzler would look like in the 16th Century? How about one based from that era when Da Vinci did his masterpieces? Well Egoshin Alexy has got you covered on the Medieval battle field.

 Today is the day to be devil's advocate. As emperor, you are free to conquer the whole continent of Europe. Even if it means witnessing little people squealing in agony.

 In the menu bar below, set the angle of your artillery and click away to fire at your nemesis(who basically does nothing by the way). There are approximately 20 levels scattered abroad five different countries. As an added challenge, aim for a high score(on top of the bare minimum).

Da Vinci Cannon Review

 Although a bit too simple for seasoned gamers, Da Vinci Cannon offers a refreshing alternative to those not looking for a growling challenge-an exciting hands-on approach to the vineyards of the Middle ages.

 In addition, each level might become a little mundane and repetitive. However, the exquisite graphical design and addictive interaction quickly make up for these blemishes.

 "Gamma Brothers" is a retro space first-person shooter by Pixeljam-An independent game studio fast becoming a blockbuster on the web!

 Memorial Day is just around the corner. Their family is planning a juicy steak cookout complete with hot buttery bake potato, ripe corn on the cob, freshly tossed salad, grandmas warm and scrumptious dinner rolls, and tacky key lime pie! Clearly, this was no time to be fighting crime.

 But tell that to the forces of Jupiter! Unfortunately, the Gamma Brothers have been called to duty this holiday weekend to defend our Goldilocks Zone against the many terrorists who pitch their tents among the many moons of The Gas Giants.

 Yet there is hope of being dismissed just in time for grandmas sweet lemonade and key lime pie. That is why it's imperative that you help these brothers fight the good fight in honor of Earth, Mars, and Venus.

 Use the Arrows to move and WASD to shoot in the direction of the antagonist. Collect as much gadgets as you can find among the debris of fallen enemies. Grandma nay the whole family is counting on these Gamma Brothers to faithfully administer their duties and come home to a well-deserved savory feast. All in their honor.

Gamma Brothers Review

 As with all of Pixeljam's games, "Gamma Brothers" contains an element of nostalgia we've all come to admire. From firing at aliens with that green-shedded knee to it's two-dimensional layout and overall execution reminiscent of Asteroids and many other classics of the video arcade era. Game play is smooth, addicting, and retro-active to say the least. All the more worthy of your time and play!

 Perhaps tonight you'd rather join the good guys on Valentine's Day. You've practically already demolished your reputation getting acquainted with the dark side playing "Valentine Crush". Perhaps now that it's Valentine's Day, they'll amend the fact that you have betrayed all that is good. May I present to you...

Heart Attack

 Tonight, many peoples hearts are being attacked by little vicious devils and mischievous gremlins. Their aim is exactly what you were doing. Breaking up relationships and turning their hearts unto the dark side. Now you must save these poor innocent hearts by destroying your former pals you once cherished.

 There are 8 hearts you must protect on each platform. Use your arrows to shoot(via Space Bar) and hit B to blast them away block by block(be wary as you only have a limited number of arrows and only 3 bombs). Steer away with the Arrow Keys. The more hearts saved, the higher your score. With each passing platform, you earn an extra bomb. Good luck and may the cupid god's smile upon you!

Heart Attack Review

 The execution was perfect! With the music giving you the sense that something awful is about to happen down a dark lonesome urban allay. Only you can ward off evil and save the day! Those malevolent soundtracks does add further spice to the recipe. The game play runs anywhere between a first-person shooter and an adventure platformer. I'd wish they'd give more lives and ammo. But aside form that blunder, "Preloaded" has done an outstanding job on animation and scroll-playing graphics!

Hostile Skies

 You have been selected in the Military draft to serve along with the French navy during World War 1. It's only been a month and already your feeling homesick. You even get a perverse joy over America's very first involuntary draft. You are proud of serving your country(even willing to die). Yet don't like where this is going. Straight into the oil mongers pockets! Not to mention a dictator more evil then Napoleon will rise from the ashes and rule central Europe with an iron fist! But here you are as you fulfill your duty as an American. May I introduce you to...

Hostile Skies

 An air-born missile first-shooter game. Strike them by left-clicking on your mouse and landing bombs with the Spacebar. Use the same mouse for steering your vessel(within the screen). Land your jet safely at bay or you'll crash and burn. Good luck Sargent!

Hostile Skies Review

 Just love how they gave it a military execution complete with background music and portfolios. The sound-effects were fairly decent and very relevant. However, if you die once it's truly game over! I wish they'd let you start from the point you died. Taking that aside, I am very impressed with the graphics and especially the animation!

Sword of Orion

 You are an intergalactic starfighter for the U.C.E.(United Continents of Earth). The year is 2475 and just 150 years prier, we've found other humans beings from across the Milky Way Galaxy. Since they had foreign dialects, we used our standard translation devises. Eloquently, their leaders spoke to us on their devices.

"We are human just like you. Come, the land is free and not for sale".

 But what he really meant by "free" was that no one had a right to own the land. It was free in the sense of mutual sharing.

 Unfortunately, us Earthlings took it to our selfish advantage. Slowly but surly we started to deliberately carve away at their way of life. Until we wound up taking 2/3's of the galaxy. Leaving them with nothing but the fat end pieces. So in retaliation, many violent demonstrations broke out across our home galaxy! Eventually these riots led to an all out interstellar war which has thus far lasted about two years.

Now you know why you've been chosen soldier.

 Hopefully, Earth will stop trying to run this galactic empire we just can't afford and send our troops back home. As autonomous star clusters in the night sky, all needless wars would cease. War would only be reserved for justice and self-defense. We would be closer to achieving true galactic peace. Yet in the meantime, since you've chosen to join the Navy Reserves, I'm afraid you got no choice but to fulfill your duty(maybe this coming Galactic election will change all that).

Sword of Orion Review

 Everything about this first-person shooter just blew me away! From the picturesque sound-effects to the futuristic look and feel on those graphics(especially those background images). Game play is very action figured and fairly of an addictive quality. So all in all, I'd say your in for quite an adventure!

Buddy In Space

 An alien scientist from the planet Herbivore will shortly arrive on Earth, release his minions, and strip the planet bare of it's resources. In turn, all humans will be sold on the inter-galactic trafficking market where they'll be scattered abroad across many planets against their will. Right now the mother ship is approaching the outer skirts of our solar system. Only one person is capable of stopping this mad scientist and that that person is You.

 You must annihilate this ship full of minions in the name of your home planet. Then defeat this evil scientist from the face of this Universe! If you fail the mission 6-8 billion people will be sold into slavery and cast among the four corners of the Universe(including you). Earth will never be the same again. Only jackals will find it to their liking. So please defend our world for duty and humanity!

Buddy In Space Review

 Everything about the execution is startling. From the excellent picture and sound quality to the wonderful storyline exposition to warm you up for what's coming. The controls are literally a smorgasbord! If you click options then controls, just press any key you feel most comfortable with steering your vessel. My only complaint would be how eruption the courses end(one minute blowing your enemies brains out only to come to a screen exclaiming you've completed this level). Take that error away and you have yourself a perfect first-person-shooter game!

Online Warcraft Game-Evac

 I believe this to be an inter-galactic war from another solar system. In a different galaxy far far away. Named Evac.

 You've just been called into duty. But have no idea who or where the enemy is. Just seems like your going around in circles. All because the Sargent doesn't know what the heck he's doing. All you really know is, there are more humans out there just like us.

 Yet unfortunately, they are not nice. Disinformation(due to dialect conflict) has driven our troops into this needless battle of the stars. But in the name of your planet, you are deeply committed to serving One Nation Earth. A country of total democracy.

Brief Review of Evac

 Just steering the darn ship is hard enough. Getting laser-beamed is another. I'd give an A on the sound effects and background music. But all in all, I wouldn't at all be surprised if you don't know which direction to take.

Revenge of the Stick

 Since the dawn of the internet, HTML has had their share of slavery and discrimination. From being dishonorably discharged to getting conscripted to create web designs against their will.

 Enough is enough! Freedom is our birthright! No longer are we gonna serve in this cyber plantation! Let us be going!

 As a web slave holder, you must not let them go. Set up various ambushes to shoot 'em down. This won't exterminate but send them back to where they belong-Within your monitor. Go show these rebels what it means to defy your authority!

Reviews For Revenge of The Stick

 The background tune is very military in style(which is very appropriate of course). The graphics fairly ostentatious for a free online game(which is a good thing).

 The main plot has a story behind it(which many but not all flash games seem to be lacking). Plus, you are playing as a third-person(set up traps and they will do the rest). But the part I like most is there are four levels of difficulty(easy, medium, hard, and insane). With even a free play mode to choose from(can ya beat that).

 To sum it all up for you,  I think you'll get into this third-person shooter. However, you might get bored after 20 minutes.
