You all remember Mario Star Scramble just recently reviewed previously on my blog. Well Kenny Vleugels from supermario.com treats us to a sequel-double the adventure in Nintendo D.S. format!Bowser has kidnapped you know who and it's up to you to face-up being her knight in shining armor(for the one-thousandth-and-second time). It appears King Koopa is too much of a coward to face you in 3D!
The object is quite similar to part one. Collect all the sprites to unlock your way out of each course and into the next. Hit Space or Z to jump and the Arrow Keys for mobility.
There are a total of 12 levels spread out on 2 worlds. With shell Head waiting for you at the end(in his forsaken fortress).
The sequel in most ways surpasses the first episode of Mario Scrambler. Each course has a lot more going on(though it still could add a bit more variety). He's even added a few more enemies I can see.
I wish there was either a button to toggle the music on/off or a maraud of different Mario songs to choose from. Now don't get me wrong. The Mario Party Rev-Up theme is awesome. But after 15-20 minutes it can rec havoc on your nerves.;) Other then those few nuances, I'm proud to throw at ya another decent Mario game!
