Well tonight, Mr. Sandman has indeed screwed up and needs your help in putting everything back in order. The Magic Sand has worked. But the kids are sleepwalking aimlessly through dreamland(also known as the land of Nod). Something which should never happen through the night watches.
This time you will be using the sand to build ramps, slopes, dunes, and passageways to get those kids safely into the portal(that'll hopefully send them back safely into their own beds). But watch out for baddies. Namely those Nightmares that roam around in shifting shadows. Be on the look out for steep cliffs, bodies of water(Sleepwalkers can't swim), and invisible platforms. These children fully trust in you in their stupefied state.
All you'll really need is a mouse for left-clicking to pour sand from above. Use this granular matter to steer the Sleepwalkers toward the exit and to keep the phantoms away.

As always, Niterome goes the extra mile in delivering such pixel-perfect art design and exquisite game play! The physics and third-person execution is what sets apart these game developers head-and-shoulders above the rest...And Sandman is certainly no exception! Whether your in the mood for a retro platformer or just plain ol' can't get enough of Nitrome, "Sandman" is sure to rise up to your expectations(minus the screen maneuvering). All to the tune of that hit from the 50's-"Mr. Sandman"!
The sand fairy is counting on you this very night. Will he rejoice over his decision or regret ever hiring a substitute?
