A Dralien Day

Here is a good #PointAndClick #AdventureGame by #PencilKids all about a dragon! It's tough being a dragon nowadays. Besides being as shy as a firefly, the Industrial Revolution has nearly wiped you out. What's more? A chain of cataclysmic events ushered in the Winter Solstice on a near mass extinction! All that is left are a few humans, a couple of androids, and a lot of residual energy bottled-up within the World Wide Web(that has accumulated into self-sustaining robots bent on evil).

It took scientists forever to disclose the existence of dragons. But once they did, Dec. 21st, 2012 was just around the corner. It was too late to go dragon-hunting. Now humanity must start from scratch to develop the civilization they once enjoyed.

"A Dralien Day" is about a malevolent robot who kidnaps(or should I say dragonnaps) his mother to a gloomy dungeon hidden within a mechanical terrain. Dralien must go on a brave adventure to go rescue his mother from the clutches of 8.75 evil.

A mouse will suffice for your journey. Find certain Ruby-Goldberg connections and solve a few dilemmas to get from point A to point B(a few white circles will highlight what to do next). You will even have to defend yourself at certain points. As well as immerse yourself in a couple of action-packed mini-games(though you can skip these by with a hefty price tag). Your sub-objective is to get a high score.

Yet being a courageous little dragon, you are willing to risk it all for the one who brought you into this world(who by the way, you haven't as so much met).

Review of A Dralien Day

I am amazed at how well Robin engineered the visuals and animation! The graphics speak volumes into how zanically surreal "A Dralien Day" really is. Add to how the puzzles and mini-games aren't so frustrating nor gratuitously simple and pointless(though the increditably seasoned among us might want an even greater challenge).

The mechanically-charged atmosphere coupled with it's serendipitous interactivity will surely get you in the Dralien spirit! To make a long story short, Pencilkids has meticulously stenciled together a wholly interactive state of the art point-and-click adventure with a story behind the MySQL!
